German fintech LINUS Digital Finance officially launches digital platform in the UK

· Market entry as an Appointed Representative of Infinity Asset Management LLP, which is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority · Digital access to professionally curated real estate private debt investments · Ability to invest in resilient German real estate market despite Brexit

Berlin/London, LINUS Digital Finance, the first German fintech to provide investors with access to professionally curated investments in institutional-quality real estate financing, is now launching its digital platform in the UK.

With this move the Berlin and London-based fintech is giving eligible UK investors digital access to the German real estate market, one of the largest markets in Europe. Eligible British investors now have the opportunity to participate in German real estate financings despite Brexit via proven participation structures. This will allow them to expand their portfolios to include real estate financing in burgeoning German cities such as Berlin and Munich. In the course of the second half of 2021, German investors will also have the opportunity to participate in British investments totally digitally.

“After opening our office in London last year and completing our listing in Frankfurt in May, I am particularly pleased that we are now also able to offer our at-tractive investment products to eligible investors in the UK,” is how David Neuhoff, the founder and CEO of LINUS Digital Finance, comments this important milestone for the company. “Our platform launch in the UK is another big step towards becoming a pan-European investment platform for the best real estate deals in Europe,” adds Neuhoff.

“The path of initially obtaining approval as an Appointed Representative with a strategic partner makes sense for us primarily because Infinity specialises in setting up and operating professional investment structures in the UK. In the medium term, we are also aiming to obtain an independent FCA authorisation,” says Lukas Endl, Co-Managing Director at LINUS Digital Finance UK. “With our offering we are enabling eligible British investors to access the robust German real estate market in uncertain times while also giving German investors access to the highly dynamic British real estate market,” adds Endl.

Eligible investors in the UK are professional investors and certified sophisticated investors as de-fined by the Financial Conduct Authority.
