How does the investment process work?
First, you need to register on our platform. After confirming that you are an eligible investor, you will be able to view all of our current projects that have been vetted through a rigorous due-diligence process. Once you have selected and co-invested into a project of your choice, you can track the performance of your investment through our platform. Rest assured, our team of experts are always available to answer any questions you may have.
What exactly is a co-investment?
Our partners are never the sole investors in any deal, as LINUS is always present as an anchor investor in every investment. Put simply, we pre-finance 100% of our projects through our own fund and retain a share in the loan over the entire term.
What are the costs for investing?
There are no costs, you receive the interest rate allocated to you as a co-investor in the respective financing without any deductions or fees.
When will I receive the interest payments from my investment?
All interest and principal payments from projects are distributed immediately to investors. In most cases, loans are subject to accrued interest meaning that investors receive the loan amount including interest at the end of the loan term in one lump sum payment. At times, ongoing interest payments are made by the borrowers, which are then distributed accordingly.
What is the minimum investment amount?
There is a minimum investment size of £50,000 per individual deal.
Who can invest with LINUS?
High net worth investor: Annual income of £100,000+ or net assets of £250,000+ excluding your main residence. Sophisticated investor: You must sign the self-declaration form when registering your details. Professional investors: Either a per se professional client or an elective professional client.
